About Hedgehog and Bunny
Behind the scenes
Hedgehog and Bunny is so much more than just a business name to me. Hedgehog and Bunny is the reason I was so incredibly lucky to have started up my own business and pursue a dream job working from home.

When my twins were born their favourite teddies were (I'm sure you’ve guessed it) a Hedgehog and a Bunny. We had to take their teddies everywhere with them, holidays, days out, friends houses. You name it, they came!
They were such a huge part of our children’s lives. Even our youngest has a favourite bunny teddy!
So then the reason for naming my business after their teddies was simple. Without my children and incredibly supportive partner I’d never have been so fortunate to be a stay at home mum. I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to take time and decide what I wanted to do with my life and career.
Not only are Hedgehog and Bunny super cute cuddly toys, they are also wonderful wildlife creatures. As we all know our nature is a huge part of our planet. We all need to take care of everything and everyone around us.
I would be lying if I said I had been eco conscious my whole life (even most my life) but I am now. I am still learning and finding out new ways that we can better our planet.
I hope that my products are my way of doing something towards this, by reducing, reusing and recycling.

We are very proud of the fact that all of our materials are locally sourced, including wood retrieved from sustainable woodlands, off-cuts brought home by countless helpful family members, and glassware which has been saved to be reused. All of this is found in the world which, unless you look twice, you might miss the beauty in.
If we require extra wood to aid in the construction of our products, it will be FSC certified, purchased from local suppliers.
We have been extremely lucky already meeting and teaming up with some incredible, local, like minded people.
Our crayons in the children’s gift boxes are made by ‘Funning Up My Crayons’ who are extremely talented and do incredible designs. So when you’re looking for more non-toxic crayons for your children to play with, I can’t recommend them enough.
Our photos with cut flowers in are all made by ‘Green Feather Flowers’ a local florist who puts all their time into making each and every flower arrangement perfect for that individual. All of their flowers are 100% British grown and only picked on order. Putting a stop to all the waste. If you are local to the Reading, Berkshire area I highly recommend getting in contact and you will not be disappointed.
The logo for Hedgehog and Bunny was designed by the very talented‘Twaddle and Fodd’ found on Etsy, Instagram and Facebook. If you are searching for a perfectly unusual card, a stunning hand drawn picture or like us, an original logo look no further.
We are very excited to meet more local businesses so we can all work together and help create a greener world.
